Henry’s hand

Theirry Henry, the French striker is the most talked about player for the past few weeks. Henry did an unbelievable act against Ireland during the world cup playoff match which was held in Paris. France went to the game with a 1 goal advantage from the away win in the first leg playoff but conceded a goal in the second leg. It was 1-1 till ninety minutes and the game went to extra time.


During the extra time Henry handled the ball in the penalty box and flicked to one of his team mates to score a goal. The referee did not see this incident and the goal stood. It was heartbreak for all the Irish fans and their world cup dreams were shattered. France has qualified for the world cup thanks to Theirry Henry’s hand.
