Troublesome Termites

Link ants, termites are social insects which feed on wood. Termites also feed on animal dung, soil and dead plants. The other term used for termite is the ‘white ant’. Like ants, bees and wasps, termites divide their labor among themselves. Termites do lot of good stuffs like in recycling of wood and they are of great ecological importance. They also do some bad stuff like bringing damages to crops, buildings and as well as humans. Termites damages wooden structures in our home and it is our responsibility to take some measures to get rid of them. There are many measures available which we can make use of to make sure these termites stay away from our house. We must also make sure that it is actually the termites which are causing the damage because there are bugs which feed on wood. I also heard about flying termites that are attracted to light and I have also lot of stories where termites do severe damage to crops. I hope this post is informative. Have a nice day.
